Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical programs and initiatives within the digital banking domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, establishing clear project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure effective execution.
  • Provide guidance to team members within the technical program management team and cross-functional project teams, providing steer, support and mentorship to drive successful project delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and tools for program management, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality across projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery, implementing proactive strategies and contingency plans to address challenges.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management, presenting program status, metrics, and insights to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the digital banking landscape, incorporating relevant insights into program planning and execution.
  • Champion innovation and drive transformational change within the organization, leveraging technology to enhance the digital banking experience for customers and stakeholders.
  • Program Planning: Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, providing insights, recommendations, and expertise to inform decision-making and drive organizational success.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, designers, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery, implementing proactive strategies to address challenges and minimize disruptions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor program progress and performance against key metrics, milestones, and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues and obstacles that arise during program execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and mitigate risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of program deliverables, conducting reviews, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and compliance with standards.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to program scope, schedule, and budget, assessing impacts and communicating effectively with stakeholders to gain alignment and approval.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain program documentation, including plans, reports, and documentation, to support transparency, accountability, and compliance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, lessons learned, and best practices, implementing changes to enhance program efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

Requirements

  • Engineering background: A minimum of 3-5 years technical program management experience or project management
  • Influence: Inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals, provide direction, and lead by example.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify challenges, analyze root causes, and develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve project objectives.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions based on data, analysis, and stakeholder input, balancing risks and opportunities to drive results.
  • Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources to optimize productivity and meet project milestones.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and disagreements within the team, facilitate constructive dialogue, and find mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate ideas, expectations, and feedback to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
