Social Media Content Creator

About the Role

PopoMama is looking for a creative and social-media-savvy Social Media & Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas into content people want to watch, share and engage with.

You'll create and manage content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Xiaohongshu (XHS/小红书), combining social media, video, design and AI creative tools to grow our brand and community.

What You'll Do

• Plan and create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and XHS.
• Develop content ideas, scripts and captions in English and Chinese, aligned with campaigns, trends and brand objectives.
• Shoot and edit short-form videos, product content and event content.
• Create social visuals using Canva, Adobe, AI creative tools or similar platforms.
• Manage posting and community engagement across social channels.
• Track content performance and trends, and continuously improve what we create.
• Work with the marketing team, creators and partners to bring campaigns and content ideas to life.

Who We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Design, Digital Media or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to create engaging Chinese-language social content.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, XHS and social media trends.
• Able to shoot and edit short-form videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Able to create good-quality visuals using design and AI creative tools.
• Creative, resourceful and comfortable learning and experimenting with new content formats and tools.

Portfolio or examples of social media, design or video work are required.

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Salary: RM3,000–RM5,000 + Allowances
