About the Role:
New Era Technology Malaysia is hiring a
Software Engineer to be deployed at our esteemed client location in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a dynamic professional with strong expertise in
Java,
Spring,
AWS, and
Microservices Architecture, who is passionate about cloud-based solution development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications using Spring Framework.
- Build and deploy microservices-based architecture for enterprise-grade applications.
- Drive and support cloud migration initiatives, specifically transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment in AWS.
- Ensure clean, testable, and efficient code, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate in CI/CD pipeline development and contribute to deployment automation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed services and applications.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services and deployment practices.
- Proven expertise in microservices development and cloud deployment.
- Experience in migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
