Software Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Tester (Manual) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in manual testing, strong analytical skills, and a background in the banking or fintech domain. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and help maintain high software standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and raise quality concerns.
• Ensure testing best practices and standards are followed throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in test planning, estimations, and provide feedback on risks and dependencies.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing
• Experience in the banking or fintech (will be a good plus).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Familiar with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of API testing and basic SQL is a plus.
