Lead / support in the test development (primarily software focused) of new product testing solution to ensure product achieved desired robust performance
Perform data analytics including data integrity checks, data analysis, and script development to consolidate large datasets into meaningful summaries and performance insights.
Develop and implement data trending and SPC methodologies, enabling test software to make pass/fail decisions and support effective product segregation.
Develop, maintain, and utilize test software, scripts, and AI-enabled tools, including but not limited to: Python, C++, LabVIEW, SpitFire charting tool and general data visualization/analysis tools, Power BI or similar dashboard and reporting platforms, AI/ML-assisted analysis tools
Establish traceability and data tracking systems, including MES integration, to enable real-time monitoring, data review, and analysis.
Lead Test handling process development activities for new product development (secondary focus on hardware integration) include equipment concept & selection, procurement specification, supplier discussion and equipment setup and buyoff release.
Able to work with product development team in test process development by fulfilling project gate/milestone and cost. Participate in engineering sample, pre-series and ramp-up build to fulfil customer order.
Be initiatives in identify and implement continuous improvement for efficiency gain and quality improvement in product testing.
To ensure team readiness in test equipment road map that aligned with organization's product road map.
Test yield, UPH, downtime and failure analysis towards product improvement, high volume manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Involve in test software, platform, upgrade and development with Singapore team and original tester manufacturer.
Qualifications:
BSc/MSC Degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical / Electronic Engineering / Test Engineering / Photonics / Physics
Min 5-year experience in the semiconductor field / Test handling / LED testing / CMOS testing
Min 5-year experience in testing / automation / Process engineering knowledge in LED manufacturing process / characterization
Able to work in a team & carry out the assigned task independently
International exposure e.g. workshop with counterpart / attending conferences.
Strong knowledge in TOSA / ROSA / LED / Laser / Sensor / Driver Product knowledge in the area of electronics and/or semiconductors, tools design and automation
Strong in Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), statistical process control (SPC), problem solving method,
Clear communication and presentation skill
Strong Interpersonal skill
Creative & open minded for new opinions and inputs
Willing to work flexible hours and be available to support critical business and operational requirements.
