Job Description

The Solutions Manager will lead the development and execution of industrial automation solutions tailored to Malaysias manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. This role combines strategic business development, technical solutioning, and cross-functional leadership to drive growth in smart factory, energy management, and digital transformation initiatives. For this role, we are open to both candidates from Penang or Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Expand market share in factory and machine automation across verticals such as EMS, semiconductors, and electronics.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals and market conditions.
  • Identify and onboard qualified channel partners and system integrators.
  • Lead customer engagement from pre-sales to post-sales, ensuring solution alignment and satisfaction.

Solution Innovation & Integration

  • Collaborate with global R&D and product teams to localize Deltas automation solutions for Malaysia.
  • Build end-to-end system integration capabilities including hardware, software, and digital platforms (IoT, AI, EMS, SCADA).
  • Drive innovation in retrofit projects, chiller plant control, and data center optimization.

Project Execution & Technical Leadership

  • Oversee solution delivery including system architecture, control strategy, and commissioning.
  • Conduct energy audits and optimization studies for industrial clients.
  • Collaborate with consultants and contractors to ensure technical compliance and project success.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 810 years in industrial automation, with proven success in solution sales and system integration.
  • Experience with control products (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
  • Strong understanding of Malaysias manufacturing landscape and regulatory environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking and market insight.
  • Technical proficiency in automation platforms and energy systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and funnel management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Provide feedback on customer issues and quality improvements.
  • Participate in regional solution business planning and procurement strategy discussions.
