Job Summary
The Special Officer serves as a strategic advisor and executive support to the Top Management. This role is responsible for providing high-level administrative, analytical, and operational support to ensure the effective execution of the Top Management's duties. The incumbent will manage
communications, coordinate projects, and facilitate decision-making processes, enabling the Top Management to focus on strategic priorities.
Job Responsibilities
1. Executive Support & Strategic Advisory
• Act as the primary liaison between the Top Management and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up
on key matters.
• Conduct research and provide analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Draft reports, presentations, briefing documents, and correspondence for the Top Management.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and organizational performance metrics to provide timely recommendations.
2. Project & Operations Management
• Oversee and coordinate strategic projects initiated by the Top Management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Track progress and key milestones, highlighting any risks or deviations from project plans.
• Collaborate with various departments to drive implementation and resolve bottlenecks.
3. Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements in all initiatives involving the Top
Management's office.
• Prepare reports and documentation for management meetings, board meetings, and regulatory submissions.
4. Administrative & Logistical Support
• Manage the Top Management's schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently.
• Organize and coordinate high-level meetings, ensuring timely distribution of agendas and meeting minutes.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
5. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, and senior
executives.
• Represent the Top Management's office in meetings and engagements when required.
• Address stakeholder inquiries and concerns on behalf of the Top Management.
Qualifications & Work Experience
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication/
Computer Engineering or any equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 12 - 16 years of relevant working experience in executive support, strategic planning, corporate affairs, or project management.
• Experience in managing engagements with government agencies, regulators, industry players, or strategic partners, with significant experience
in leadership roles.
• Experience in a corporate or government environment is highly preferred.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Multi-task, work independently, and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework under the CMA 1998 and its subsidiary legislation.
