Job Summary
Support the implementation of the Group Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework throughout PPB Group and its subsidiaries.
Job Responsibilities
Group BCM Framework
- To carry out research on best practices and propose enhancement of the BCM processes and templates.
- To incorporate the agreed changes to the Group BCM Framework.
Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Workshops, develop Business Continuity Plan (BCP) & Crisis Management Plan
- To carry out the necessary preparations prior to the BIA workshops, e.g. coordinate with Business Unit (BU)s Business Continuity Office (BCO) on confirmation of BIA workshops schedule, conduct research, etc.
- Analyse and consolidate the information gathered during the workshops to incorporate into the BIA and BCP, before obtaining the sign-off from the relevant stakeholders
- To prepare the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Crisis Management Plan (CMP) for BUs.
Maintenance and Testing of BCP and CMP
- To work closely with the Business Continuity Leaders or BU's BCO to update their respective BIAs, BCPs and CMPs.
- To carry out the first level review for all the operating companies who had implemented BCM.
- To carry out research on possible test scenarios and assist functional supervisor to coordinate and prepare for the periodic exercise/ testing of BCP/ CMP and/ or crisis simulation exercise.
Communication and Education on BCM Programme
- To prepare the materials for BCM awareness/ refresher briefings to foster awareness and build a resilient culture within PPBHO and the operating companies.
BCM Reporting
- To work closely with the BU's BCO and other stakeholders to prepare the periodic BCM reports for the functional supervisor/ Group Chief Risk Officer's review prior to submission to the Group Business Continuity Steering Committee and Board.
Carrying out any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Company from time to time
Education & Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, Law, Engineering & equivalent.
- Professional certification in Business Continuity Management is an added advantage
Relevant Experience & Years of Service
- At least two years of working experience in BCM or process driven positions
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
- Good understanding of BCM methodology
- Preferably possess experience in operational processes
- Analytical and process driven
- Strong command in English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Canva
