Job Description

The Specialist, Creative & Digital Support is an entry-level developmental role designed to support CGC Digital's brand visibility and engagement efforts through creative visual storytelling and on-ground brand activation.

CGC Digital is building a modern fintech brand serving Malaysia's MSME ecosystem. We are looking for a Growth Creative who is platform-native, AI-enabled, and excited to experiment with short-form content that drives engagement.

This Specialist role is about contributing to growth outcomes through creative storytelling across digital platforms and ecosystem engagements. Working closely with the Strategic Marketing & Communication team, this role ensures that brand campaigns, events, and partnerships are translated into engaging, high-quality content that strengthens CGC Digital's presence within the fintech and MSME ecosystem.

Responsibilities

CREATIVE & VISUAL PRODUCTION

 

1. Create Content That Drives Engagement

i. Produce short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn) using strong hooks and retention-based storytelling.

ii. Design static and animated visuals for campaigns, events, and ecosystem partnerships.

iii. Create lightweight motion graphics and dynamic text overlays suitable for fintech storytelling.

iv. Translate campaign themes into platform-native content formats.

v. Confidently appear on camera when required.

2. Experiment, Optimise, Repeat

i. Assist in publishing and optimising content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and website.

ii. Monitor engagement rate, watch-time retention, and click-through rate.

iii. Propose creative improvements based on performance response.

iv. Identify trending formats or reactive content opportunities.

v. Support basic creative variations for paid or boosted content.

3. Use Modern Creative Tools

i. Work across professional creative tools (Adobe, Canva Pro, Figma or equivalent).

ii. Edit short-form videos using Premiere Pro, CapCut, VN or similar tools.

iii. Use AI-assisted tools for scripting, caption generation, image creation, and workflow acceleration.

iv. Maintain an organised creative asset library.

4. Support Events & Brand Activation

i. Capture photos and short-form videos during events.

ii. Support on-ground brand presence and content generation.

iii. Contribute to post-event storytelling formats.

  

DIGITAL MARKETING SUPPORT

Content Execution:

i. Assist in scheduling and publishing content across digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, website).

ii. Support campaign execution by preparing creative assets and resizing formats.

iii. Monitor basic engagement metrics and support performance reporting.

iv. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure creative alignment with campaign goals.

 

EVENTS & BRAND ACTIVATION

Offline Engagement & Support:

i. Support event branding execution, including booth setup, banners, signage, and marketing materials.

ii. Capture photos and videos during events for post-event marketing use.

iii. Assist with guest engagement, registration support, and brand presence on-site.

iv. Contribute to post-event content recaps and follow-up communications.

BRAND STRATEGY & POSITIONING

Brand Application:

i. Apply brand guidelines consistently in all visual and content outputs.

ii. Ensure day-to-day creative assets reflect CGC Digital's positioning as a fintech ecosystem enabler.

iii. Provide feedback on audience response to help refine future creative direction.

Remain agile in taking on responsibilities that support immediate business priorities.

Qualifications

i. Degree in Design, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, or related field

ii. Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video and digital creative work.

iii. Comfortable being on camera and communicating confidently.

iv. Familiar with platform-native storytelling mechanics.

v. Comfortable using AI-assisted creative tools.

vi. Basic understanding of digital performance metrics.

vii. Proactive, curious, and willing to test new ideas.
