Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Copywriter proficient in English to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging, informative, and impactful content that connects with diverse audiences. In this role, you will produce various types of content, including articles, blogs, social media posts, website copy, and more. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, edit, and proofread content in Chinese and English, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and clarity.
- Develop content ideas and produce original content that aligns with the company's objectives and resonates with the target audience.
- Create engaging, SEO-optimized content for multiple platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and newsletters.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and social media teams to generate and execute creative content ideas and campaigns.
- Monitor content performance metrics and adapt strategies to enhance engagement and impact.
Requirements And Skills
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Chinese and English, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar content-focused role, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating writing versatility and quality.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize information into accurate, insightful, and engaging content.
- Highly creative thinker with a strong capability to develop original and innovative content ideas.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a proactive, self-motivated, and accountable work style.
- Solid bidirectional translation expertise (Chinese–English / English–Chinese), with particular strength in finance, macroeconomics, and business-related content.
- Demonstrated ability to write original Chinese financial content tailored to the China market, featuring clear logical structure, a professional tone, and audience-appropriate language.
- Proficiency in Malay translation is a plus, supporting multilingual and cross-market content needs.
