Supply Planner

Role Description The Supply Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, responsible for ensuring reliable product availability and efficient use of production and inventory resources. Day-to-day tasks include managing supply plans, balancing demand and supply, and coordinating closely with production planning, procurement, and logistics to meet customer requirements and service level targets. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, identifying constraints, and adjusting plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. The Supply Planner will also analyze data to improve forecasting accuracy, support continuous improvement projects, and communicate planning updates and risks to cross-functional stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Qualifications

• Strong Supply Planning and Demand Planning capabilities to balance customer needs with production and inventory constraints.
• Experience in Production Planning and coordination with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Solid Analytical Skills, including data analysis, use of spreadsheets or planning tools, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and presenting planning recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and planning software; familiarity with SAP or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to work accurately with details, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under changing requirements.
• Experience in coatings, chemicals, or manufacturing industries is beneficial, along with knowledge of inventory and logistics best practices.
