Role Description This is a full-time Takaful Consultant role based in Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Takaful Consultant will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and recommend suitable Takaful plans. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, explaining Takaful concepts and benefits, preparing proposals and quotations, and assisting clients with policy applications and documentation. The role involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, providing policy reviews, and supporting claims-related inquiries to ensure a positive client experience. The Takaful Consultant will also participate in outreach, networking, and training sessions to stay informed about products, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly explain Takaful and insurance concepts, products, and benefits to diverse clients, both in person and remotely.
• Strong client relationship management, including listening skills, needs analysis, and consultative selling in a professional manner.
• Solid organizational and administrative skills for handling documentation, policy applications, follow-ups, and basic record keeping.
• Comfort with digital tools and online communication platforms used for hybrid work, client meetings, and internal collaboration.
• Ethical mindset and commitment to Shariah-compliant financial practices, with willingness to learn relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Prior experience in insurance, Takaful, financial services, or sales is beneficial but not strictly required for motivated candidates.
• Relevant professional certifications in insurance or Takaful, or willingness to pursue them, are considered an added advantage.
