Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Telephone Operator at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, located in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The responsibilities include managing calls through the hotel's switchboard, ensuring polite and professional phone etiquette, assisting guests and team members with inquiries, and providing excellent customer support. The role also involves transferring calls efficiently, recording messages accurately, and offering guests and visitors a warm and welcoming experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Phone Etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency as a Switchboard Operator and experience handling a switchboard system
  • Proven experience in Customer Support and addressing guest inquiries effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Fluency in Chinese, English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
  • Friendly demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional service
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications are an asset
