About The Job Test Automation Engineer

Qashier is looking for a
Test Automation Engineer to support our growth!
What You&aposll Do
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Investigate causes of issues and bugs with engineers
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Track quality assurance metrics and provide feedback
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
What We&aposre Looking For
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- 3 years and above work experience in automated testing for UI(Android, iOS, and Web) or API using JavaScript, Python, or Java, JavaScript is preferred
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong knowledge of writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, e.g., Cypress, Appium, Selenium, or Pytest.
- Passionate about writing testing cases and learning new technologies
Preferred Skills
- Experience in software development
- Experience with building automation platforms
- Experience in improving processes to improve software quality
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to integrate with automation tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes
