Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. This role involves designing and executing tests, collaborating with developers, and ensuring that our software products meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with software developers and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Perform regression testing and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
