Position: Trade Marketing Manager
Location: Kajang, Selangor
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of category and channel strategies to achieve sales and market share targets.
- Develop and implement the annual Trade Marketing Plan aligned with overall business, sales, and marketing objectives.
- Manage and optimize the trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI across channels.
- Drive brand visibility and in-store excellence through strong execution of merchandising, POS materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Lead the planning and execution of impactful trade promotions, in-store activations, roadshows, and product launches in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Develop and implement channel-specific strategies for key accounts to maximize growth opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders to enhance brand presence and execution quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and campaign effectiveness to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
- Own demand planning inputs by contributing to accurate forecasting and ensuring alignment with promotional activities and product launches.
- Oversee trade investment planning, including budget setting, tracking, and monthly reviews with Finance to ensure optimal spend and accurate accruals.
- Lead, coach, and develop the trade marketing team (if applicable), fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business and above.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the FMCG sector in trade marketing, sales and preferably additional functional experience in either sales, category development or marketing.
- Results oriented and ability to improve continuously with resourceful problem solving, good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with sales or data analytics tools is an added advantage.
