About the Role
You will be heavily involved in collecting, researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements to deliver an outstanding user experience through exceptional and intuitive application design. You shall also be tasked to ensure seamless web/mobile design and successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all digital platforms while keeping yourself up to date with emerging trends in user experience design and interface technology.
What will you do:
- Own the entire process from initial research, ideation, conceptualization and design, to testing and validation.
- Deliver concepts, personas, user journeys, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, visual design mockups and prototypes besides creating & managing asset libraries for reusable designs.
- Create clean, intuitive and user-friendly interfaces from product requirements and user research insights.
- You will work cross functionally with product owners and developers to oversee the development of a product covering problem definition, concepting, and launch.
- Apply human centered design methodologies to ensure the needs, challenges and wishes of customers today are understood.
- Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders verbally and visually.
Skills, experience and certifications you possess:
- A minimum of 7 years experience as a full time UI/UX Designer is highly desirable with knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery principles.
- Sound knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, Proto.io, Invision, Zeplin and Mural.
- Proven track record of the overall implementation and facilitation of design process leveraging a variety of methodologies such as Google Design Sprint, Opportunity Solution Tree, User Journey mapping, Jobs-to-be-done, User Story Mapping and etc.
- Familiar with Bootstrap, Google Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Understanding of technology capabilities such as HTML, CSS and front-end technologies
- Skilled in most if not all the following: conceptual design, user research, wireframing, rapid clickable prototyping, Process mapping, persona creation, detailed design, usability testing and implementation
