About The Role
We are seeking a results-driven
Unit Head, Sales Centre to support the Regional Manager in expanding business growth and profitability in an efficient and sustainable manner. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple distribution channels, driving sales performance, ensuring prudent underwriting and claims management, and strengthening market presence. You will play a key leadership role in developing marketing strategies, expanding agency capabilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the Regional Manager in driving business expansion and profitability across Agency, RHB Group, Brokers, Franchise, and Direct channels
- Manage and optimize productivity across all assigned distribution channels
- Ensure prudent underwriting and acceptance of new risks and renewals within approved authority limits
- Handle and settle claims in accordance with guidelines and branch authority
- Identify new market opportunities and initiatives to expand market share
- Arrange surveys and provide risk management solutions for corporate clients
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote sales and enhance product penetration
- Conduct regular reviews of the product portfolio to ensure competitiveness and relevance
- Oversee and supervise overall sales performance of the Unit, ensuring achievement of financial and operational KPIs
- Manage branch internal operations, credit control management, and compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
- Lead manpower planning and cost optimization for the Unit
- Promote professionalism, learning, and competitive positioning within the agency force
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 710 years of experience in insurance or financial services, with strong exposure to agency and multi-channel sales management
- Proven track record in achieving financial business goals, including Gross Written Premium (GWP) and production targets
- Strong understanding of underwriting, claims management, credit control, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in agency recruitment, portfolio management, and performance development
- Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic, analytical, and commercially driven with strong execution capabilities
- High level of professionalism and commitment to governance, audit, and compliance standards
