Our client is a specialist investment firm focused on private capital market secondaries and liquidity solutions across Asia Pacific. The firm manages complex fund structures and investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions.

The Vice President, Finance Operations will lead the firm's finance and operational functions across fund entities and corporate structures. This role combines fund accounting oversight, financial reporting, treasury management, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between investment, finance, external service providers, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

Fund Finance & Financial Reporting

  • Oversee fund-level accounting, including capital calls, distributions, NAV reporting, and investor
  • Review quarterly and annual financial statements across fund entities and
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and fund
  • Support valuation processes and ensure accurate financial

Operation & Treasury Management

  • Oversee cash flow management across funds and corporate
  • Manage credit facilities, capital deployment tracking, and liquidity
  • Coordinate fund operations with external administrators and
  • Ensure smooth execution of transaction settlements and operational

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions (e.g., Malaysia, Singapore, ).
  • Oversee corporate governance matters including board reporting and statutory
  • Strengthen internal controls and risk management

Stakeholder & Service Provider Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for fund administrators, tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel.
  • Work closely with investment teams to support deal execution and portfolio
  • Prepare management reports and present financial insights to senior

Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Drive automation and operational efficiency
  • Establish scalable finance processes to support business
  • Mentor and supervise finance team members

Role requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Around 10-13 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity, asset management, or investment
  • Strong knowledge of fund structures (SPVs, LPs, GP structures).
  • Experience working in Asset management, capital markets or private equity firms
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication
