Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Investor Relations to lead the Group's investor relations function and serve as the principal point of contact for institutional equity and bond investors, research analysts and the broader investment community.

The role will be responsible for developing and executing the Group's investor relations strategy, to enhance investor outreach, strengthen market engagement and ensure clear, consistent and effective communication of the Group's financial performance, business strategy, investment proposition and credit profile.

The successful candidate will possess strong capital markets knowledge, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex financial and business matters into compelling and credible investor messaging. Experience engaging with global bond investors and credit analysts would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor Relations Strategy and Coordination

  • Develop and implement the Group's IR strategy and priorities, and work with subsidiary IR teams to coordinate market communications.
  • Identify opportunities to broaden investor outreach and strengthen the Group's relationships and visibility within the investment community.

2. Investor and Analyst Engagement

  • Lead engagement with institutional investors, global fixed-income funds, equity and credit analysts and other relevant capital markets participants through meetings, roadshows, conference calls, briefings and conferences.
  • Serve as the principal contact for investor and analyst enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate and appropriately coordinated responses.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with the investment community and communicate key investor feedback and areas of market interest or concern to senior management.

3. Investor Communications and Capital Markets Support

  • Oversee the preparation of investor presentations, management talking points, Q&A documents, fact sheets, credit updates and other investor communications.
  • Develop clear and compelling messaging on the Group's financial performance, strategy, investment proposition, capital allocation, capital structure, funding strategy and key developments.
  • Work closely with Finance, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Corporate Communications, Legal and relevant business units on investor communications and capital markets activities, including bond issuances, refinancing, liability management and other funding transactions.
  • Ensure investor communications appropriately reflect the distinct profiles and disclosure requirements of the Group in compliance with applicable guidelines.

4. Market Intelligence and Senior Management Advisory

  • Monitor and analyse investor sentiment, market perceptions, equity valuation, credit metrics, investor positioning, analyst views and relevant peer developments.
  • Identify gaps between market perceptions and the Group's strategic or financial fundamentals, and recommend appropriate IR initiatives.
  • Provide senior management with actionable market intelligence and advise on investor messaging, engagement priorities and market positioning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications or postgraduate degrees would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity or debt capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance or a related function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with institutional equity and bond investors and research analysts.
  • Proven experience engaging with global bond investors, international fixed-income funds and credit analysts would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, equity valuation, credit analysis and corporate finance.
  • Experience in a listed company environment, preferably within a complex corporate group with multiple subsidiaries.
  • Experience developing investor relations strategies and managing cross-functional or multi-entity stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and business matters clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, relationship management skills and sound professional judgement.
  • High level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail.
