Key Responsibilities:
- Handling videography. Able to also do photography will be a plus.
- Develop, design, plan and execute shoots and productions and edit social media assets for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok and other emerging social media channels.
- Responsible for creative production to include short video formats as well as static image content.
- To use rough sketches for planning and scheduling video production.
- Convert static visual to multiple resolution video format.
- Hold regular meetings with the team to discuss characters, products and scenes. Brainstorm with team on creative concepts and bring that vision to reality.
- Provide guidance on characterization and the movements needed in each scene, plan the framing and composition of each scene, operate camera movement.
- To create a rough cut (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages then reorder and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
- Video production and editing including choosing and proposing music, sound effects, graphics or special effects needed to make the video more interesting.
- Ideate and conceptualize social media video content for various different campaigns.
- Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Production, Creative Media, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in videography, video editing, or multimedia production.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of photography will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and their content formats.
- Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to bring visual concepts to life.
- Good sense of storytelling, framing, and composition.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passionate about creating engaging visual content and staying updated with digital trends.
- Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with strategic planning
