Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Executive (Spare Parts) to manage the storage, inventory, and distribution of technical spare parts supporting plant operations. This role ensures materials are well-organized, accurately tracked, and readily available to support smooth and uninterrupted equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Manage receiving, storage, and issuance of technical spare parts and materials
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock audits
  • Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and identification of all materials
  • Coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Material Handling & Storage
  • Load, unload, and organize incoming goods into designated locations
  • Ensure proper preservation and storage conditions to maintain material quality
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (if licensed)
  • Maintain warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and accessibility
  • Warehouse Operations & Safety
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Comply with warehouse safety standards and company policies
  • Monitor warehouse facilities (e.g. security system, air conditioning) to ensure proper functioning
  • Manage disposal of obsolete or damaged materials
  • Cross-functional Coordination
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts
  • Liaise with procurement and suppliers for material availability and delivery
  • Support sourcing of specialized parts where required
  • System & Reporting
  • Maintain records using inventory or EAM systems
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, movement, and usage
  • Handle documentation for receiving, transfer, and issuance of materials
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and inventory control
  • Support initiatives to optimize cost, stock levels, and efficiency
  • Participate in investigations and corrective action activities where required

Requirements

  • Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Diploma with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations
  • Experience handling technical or industrial spare parts is highly preferred
  • Background in Petrochemical, Refinery, or Oleochemical industry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems / EAM software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of industrial spare parts and equipment is a plus
  • Physically fit to handle warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards
  • Valid forklift license is an added advantage
