Role Description
Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of production resources, ensuring uninterrupted material supply to support continuous production while minimizing waste and inventory costs. Drives manpower development, SOP improvements, and warehouse digitalization/automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management Control
- Establish and monitor re-order points, safety stock levels, and maximum stock limits to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Conduct regular monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory to ensure system records accurately match physical stock.
- Perform ABC analysis to prioritize high-value materials requiring tighter control.
Store Operations & Handling
- Oversee the receiving process by verifying the quantity and quality of incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Ensure all received items are keyed into the system within the stipulated timeframe on the same day of receipt.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance material flow and improve workplace safety.
- Enforce proper storage standards, including FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and environmental controls (temperature and humidity) for sensitive materials.
- Collaborate with the Project Team, Logistics Team, and other stakeholders to coordinate finished goods delivery schedules from TAMCO Plant.
System & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP/MRP system (SAP), including item master data, BOM, and stock movements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports covering inventory value, usage, and discrepancies, supported by proper root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
People, Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and enhance the competency of storekeepers, clerks, and the entire store team to improve efficiency and ensure accurate reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including SOP enhancement, process improvements, digitalization, and automation projects to create a better working environment.
Qualifications & skill requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience (preferably in raw materials, finished goods warehouse experience is an advantage).
- At least 5 years of people management experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in SAP B1 with good analytical and Microsoft Office skills.
