We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Malaysia Finance team.
Whether you're a fresh graduate looking to start your accounting career or an early-career finance professional seeking broader exposure, this role offers the opportunity to develop your technical accounting skills while supporting a regional business within a global organization.
You'll gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, expense management, and stakeholder coordination while working alongside an experienced finance team.
Your Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Management
- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor contracts
- Verify and maintain accurate records of financial transactions within the accounting system
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and expense coding
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Process and apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Prepare and provide statements of account to customers and account coordinators as part of the collection process
- Assist in monitoring receivables and collection activities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor and control expenditures to support budget management and informed decision-making
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable ageing, collections status, and cash flow projections
- Assist in monthly accounting closing activities and management reporting
- Support the preparation of accounting and finance reports in accordance with Group reporting requirements
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Assist in implementing new finance procedures, controls, and systems where required
- Maintain accurate financial records and support compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with banks, auditors, company secretaries, tax agents, suppliers, creditors, and relevant authorities
- Collaborate closely with Finance team members, operational teams, and regional stakeholders
Ad Hoc Support
- Support additional finance and business initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager
What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; and/or
- Professional certification in Accounting and Finance; or
- Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance; or
- Other equivalent qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV accounting software is an advantage
Language Skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
