- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax-related matters effectively.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Profile
A Successful Accounting Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
