Job Description
Responsibilities:
∙Design, develop applications and supporting components to meet business needs
∙Conduct discussion with business users to gather systems requirement
∙Conduct unit testing on applications to ensure its readiness for SIT / UAT
∙Conduct functional and non-functional testing of applications
∙Provide effective post go-live system support and maintenance for in-house build
application systems
Requirements:
∙Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or
related field
∙Familiar with complete system development life cycle
∙Experience in AS/SET programming (an added advantage). Training will be provided if
does not have knowledge or experience in AS/SET programming
∙Experience in AS400 Operating System, AS400 Control language (an added advantage).
∙Domain knowledge in insurance industry (an added advantage)
∙Knowledge in other common programming languages like Java, HTML, Javascript (an
added advantage)
∙Able to communicate clearly with users and team members, in terms of verbal and written
communications
∙Able to train team members on areas related to technical, system and business knowledge
