Job Purpose
Responsible to evaluate and appraise short- and long-term business opportunities and strategic goals, including growth, cost reduction, and internal controls.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on treasury-related operations, including system enhancements and initiatives involving EDW, G-Core, and the FIN Dashboard, to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Identify potential areas for process improvement within Finance operations, evaluate existing workflows, and propose practical solutions or revised processes to enhance efficiency, control, and effectiveness.
- Review FIN-related policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and prevailing best market practices, and recommend updates where necessary.
- Coordinate and manage various planned initiatives and projects undertaken by the Finance Department, including tracking progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Operations, IT, and Business units to align project objectives, requirements, and timelines with agreed deliverables and organisational priorities.
- Utilise financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess project feasibility, financial impact, and risk implications, providing insights to support management decision-making
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as required to support departmental objectives and management directives.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years related experience.
- Knowledge: Financial analysis & modelling, financial planning, business opportunities development, business planning & needs analysis, capital expenditure & investment evaluation. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skill.
