We are seekinga talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Trade System Support and Project Management. As the Assistant Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, providing support to trade finance operations while developing and enhancing Trade Systems to meet the objectives of the department. You will work on exciting projects involving new product development and system enhancements related to Trade Processing.This role reports to the team lead and the successful candidates will be based in Damansara City office.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
- Participate in projects involving new product development or system enhancements related to Trade Processing, Loans, Treasury, Payments, General Ledgers, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) etc.
- Improve, support and maintain systems related to trade finance operations, including User Requirement Specifications for building new systems and enhancing existing systems.
- Carry out User Acceptance Test for new systems and system enhancements.
- System troubleshooting - Provide workaround solution pending permanent solution. Identify the root cause of problems and liaise with IT/vendors for timely solutions.
- Preparation of Trade Finance Reporting, Statutory, Management and ad hoc reporting.
Managerial
- Provide training to trade operations and support their day to day operations.
- Monitor and track the timely execution of project activities.
- Keep abreast of latest technologies available with continuous process improvement.
- Embed open communication transparency and fairness to create a conducive environment to improve customer excellence.
Job Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree holder or equivalent.
- 2 years and above in the financial industry with experience in trade finance operations.
- System technical knowledge (SQL Query and AS400 Query) and project management skills will be an added advantage.
- Trade finance operations and system technical knowledge, able to complete the task/projects activities within the timeline.
- PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel and MS Powerpoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively.
- Problem solving skills.
