We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeller (M&E) to support ongoing data center and industrial projects. This role will focus on developing and coordinating BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems in high-spec, mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM models for M&E systems, including: HVAC / ACMV systems, Electrical systems (power, lighting, cable routing), Plumbing & sanitary systems, Fire protection systems
- Produce detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using BIM software
- Perform clash detection and coordination with other disciplines (architectural, structural, civil)
- Ensure models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans (BEP)
- Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and project teams
- Update models based on design changes and site requirements
- Support quantity take-offs and technical documentation from BIM model
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in BIM modelling (M&E scope)
- Must have project experience in at least one of the following: Data centers, Industrial projects / plants, Factories, Warehouses, Cleanrooms, Semiconductor facilities
- Proficient in: Autodesk Revit (essential), Navisworks (clash detection), AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of M&E systems in mission-critical / industrial environments
- Familiar with BIM standards, LOD requirements, and coordination workflows
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Willing to be based in Johor
