Role Summary:
The Brand Manager (Sales & Operations) will be responsible for building and growing the DFI Health & Beauty Direct Business, managing P&L and leading the end-to-end management of assigned portfolio brands. This role encompasses strategic brand planning, product lifecycle management, operational execution, and commercial performance across multiple sales channels including retail, distribution and e-commerce. The ideal candidate will drive brand growth through effective planning, cross-functional collaboration, and market execution excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
Growth DFI Direct Business
- Manage the P&L of DFI Health & Beauty Direct Business in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, ensuring financial targets are met. Develop and execute the overall strategy to drive sales growth and profitability
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth
- Drive commercial negotiation with brand principals and internal stakeholders
- Manage store operations to ensure Product Advisors consistently drive sales, foster high levels of customer engagement, enhance sales performance, and provide exceptional customer service across all locations
Brand Management
- Collaborate and interact with brand principals to align on strategies, share best practices and deliver business targets
- Develop and execute product range strategies, including planning for new product launches and lifecycle management
- Design and execute annual and seasonal promotional calendars across channels, aligning with business goals and customer insights
- Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales performance, work with marketing to enhance product visibility, and improve digital customer experience
- Work closely with brand principals and supply chain on reporting, demand forecasting, stock allocation and inventory level management
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 6 years experience in brand management, sales or commercial roles, preferably in Health & Beauty, FMCG, or Retail
- Proven track record in managing P&L and driving sales growth across retail, distribution, and e-commerce channels
- Regional experience in markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, or Vietnam is an advantage
- Strong commercial and brand management skills with a focus on achieving business targets
- Experience in product lifecycle management, promotion planning, and inventory control
- Able to analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Good understanding of store operations and ability to motivate front-line teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with brand principals and internal stakeholders
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Willing to travel regionally
