Job Title: Business Analyst (Digital Platforms & Enterprise Systems)

Employment Type: Contract / Full Time (Project-Based)

Seniority Level: MidSenior

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Environment: Hybrid / On-site (Project Dependent)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives involving workflow automation, document-centric platforms, and operational process optimisation.

The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that business needs are clearly translated into scalable, well-documented system requirements. Exposure to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or workflow platforms is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured requirements gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders using design-thinking and user-centric approaches.
  • Analyse existing business processes to identify automation, digitisation, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements for enterprise platforms, including workflow, document handling, reporting, and integrations.
  • Develop As-Is and To-Be process flows, user journeys, personas, and business architecture artefacts.
  • Produce clear documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support solution design by validating proposed technical approaches against business requirements.
  • Identify system integration touchpoints with upstream/downstream applications.
  • Prepare UAT scenarios, test cases, and support execution of user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in developing user guides, training materials, and onboarding documentation to support long-term system adoption and self-maintenance.
  • Support change management initiatives and stakeholder communications throughout project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise system or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Familiarity with workflow platforms, BPM systems, or document-centric solutions is an advantage.
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, government, etc.) is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in process modelling tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
