Our firm is a fast-growing consulting firm with main office in Hong Kong with a branch office in Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan, and client network spanning across the Asia Pacific region.
We currently have a team of over 90 experienced actuarial & finance professionals and are seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support project teams in building technology solutions for the actuarial and finance domains. This position is perfect for individuals eager to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather client requirements and develop effective technical solutions and implementation process.
- Assist in the implementation of financial and actuarial solutions using various software tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Power Automate).
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand clients pain points, and offer expert advice on technical solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and solutions developed.
- Assist in ad hoc events as required.
- Build automation workflows and BI dashboards using data visualization tools.
What Are We Looking For
- Candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates will also be considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- Quick learner who enjoys learning new technologies, tools, or knowledge.
- Coding experience (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL) gained during coursework or projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with experience in a similar fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgments, while also being a collaborative team player.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take the initiative in solving problems.
- Familiarity with actuarial, finance, or accounting concepts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
