TMF Group is hiring a Business Development Executive to be part of its Global Sales Team.

About the role:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for creating and closing local sales opportunities, bringing in new local business to the market and expanding existing customers within the market. This individual will support inbound sales processes by providing with proposals to global sellers, while also upselling and cross selling to an existing client portfolio. Will be responsible of non complex renewal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and optimize opportunities for business growth and development within the accounting and tax service line to ensure continued success and expansion of the business.
  • To develop, expand and build feeder network and effective relationships to improve opportunities for cross-referrals and local/ regional development.
  • Solution selling. Identify and uncover clients needs, concerns and objectives. Develop proposals that address such needs, concerns and objectives.
  • Work closely with in-country and international team members.
  • Contribute to marketing and thought leadership activities and build development plans for large client accounts.
  • Provide market feedback to regarding offerings, prospect needs and generate development ideas. Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's outstanding selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Improve existing relationships and arrange/ participate in internal and external initiatives.
  • Own the coordination and presentation of multi-jurisdictional sales proposals to international clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Relevant working experience in a commercial environment, or in consulting, accounting, or law firms.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Able to solution sell where the ability to listen to the clients and understand what they really need is more important than a hard sell.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, good negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented, and able to manage their priorities/workload.
  • Experience working in or with direct sales, pre-sales and/or enablement in an enterprise software and/or SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
