Purpose of Role
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for business development in the assigned territory of brokers, agents, and other distribution partners, focused primarily on Chubb's products and services associated with Small Commercial, Middle Market and Consumer Lines business. The BDM acts as an ambassador for all that Chubb has to offer for a select group of Agents. The BDM is responsible for overall agency relationship management including new client acquisition and client management. Manages and maintains focus on achieving metrics across KPI's, including Gross Written Premium growth, New Business, profit, new agency appointments, and visibility.
