As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth, managing strategic client relationships, and delivering technology solutions that create value for our customers. What you will do
- Manage existing client accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct sales presentations, solution demonstrations, and business discussions with prospective clients and partners.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships through proactive account management.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities to expand business growth beyond existing revenue streams.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, agreements, and other sales-related materials.
- Negotiate commercial terms and account management agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Manage client accounts relating to billing and payment matters, and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders when required.
- Gather customer feedback, conduct market research, and recommend improvements or new business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate them to project management and technical teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of solutions that meet customer objectives.
- Collaborate with regional business development teams and internal departments on regional initiatives and projects.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Pre-Sales, preferably within SaaS, technology solutions, software applications, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in the insurance industry, automotive industry, or related technology ecosystems will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand business requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language skills such as Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be an advantage where relevant to business needs.
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or technology platforms would be beneficial.
- Possess own transportation and be willing to travel when required.
- Willing to work at Serdang, Selangor.
