Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive business objectives and deliver growth in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing distribution partnerships, driving revenue, expanding product portfolios, and ensuring sustainable business operations in the region.
Qualifications & Experience
- 57 years of experience in FMCG sales
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Modern Trade, or Export Business
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full P&L responsibility for the Malaysia business and be accountable for revenue and profitability targets
- Act as the primary point of contact for distribution alliances and local partners
- Drive business performance to achieve budgeted top-line and bottom-line objectives
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely servicing of orders
- Develop and execute annual business plans including sales forecasts, product launches, promotions, and brand visibility campaigns
- Identify growth opportunities and expand the brand portfolio in the region
- Conduct market analysis to evaluate size, share, and potential of various categories
- Ensure compliance with local Food & Cosmetic regulations
- Monitor competitor pricing and branding strategies and maintain a market intelligence database
- Ensure periodic account reconciliation with key customers and channel partners
