Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & Brand Support

Deliver assigned corporate communications tasks (announcements, internal updates, stakeholder communications, programme materials) accurately and on time.

Ensure all communications are aligned with Sidec's brand guidelines, tone, and messaging framework.

Support execution of corporate, programme, and event communications as assigned by HOD.

Content Development & Coordination

Produce and coordinate regular content outputs across platforms (social media, website, email, reports, presentations).

Maintain content quality, consistency, and clarity across all materials.

Support content planning calendars and meet agreed content deadlines.

Coordinate with designers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of assets.

Digital & Platform Management

Support day-to-day management of Sidec's digital platforms (website, microsites, social media, email tools).

Ensure digital platforms are updated, accurate, and functional.

Assist in basic campaign setup, scheduling, and optimisation across platforms.

Flag issues, opportunities, or improvements proactively to the HOD.

Stakeholder & Internal Coordination

Act as a coordination point between internal teams, programme owners, and external vendors for communications-related tasks.

Support communications for events, launches, and programmes (pre-event, during, post-event).

Maintain clear documentation, trackers, and follow-ups for communications deliverables.

Reporting & Basic Analytics

Track and compile basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, website traffic, email performance).

Preparesimple,clearreportstosupportinternalreviewsand decision-making.

Maintain records of communications outputs and campaign activities.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

Ensure communications materials comply with corporate, governance, and brand standards.

Support documentation, approvals, and version control processes.

Demonstrate good organisation, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Continuous Improvement & Learning

Demonstrate willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and communication methods (including AI tools where relevant).

Contribute ideas for improving communications processes, workflows, or content effectiveness.

Support ad-hoc communications tasks as required by the department.

Additional Tasks

Conduct other duties as directed by the Head of Department

Assist in the preparation of any materials required by the HOD

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

Proven experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, with a focus on strategy development and execution.

Able to work in a high-paced environment and produce content/videos in a short turnaround time.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Show proficiency in social media analytics tools and platforms.

Exhibit a creative mindset and pass passion for storytelling and visual communication.

Display the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Engage in strategic thinking to develop and execute long-term social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
