Devops Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Specialist, DevOps is responsible for managing infrastructure, deployments, and monitoring production environments using various tools and scripts. The role includes designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient application delivery, planning disaster recovery, and optimizing infrastructure for scalability, security, and compliance. The position also involves supporting critical events at night, such as releases, performance tests, and peak traffic periods.

Key Results Areas:

1. Automation & Infrastructure Maintain deployment scripts/templates for consistent, failure-free deployments and improve CI/CD success rates.
2. Release & Deployment Reduce incidents and deployment time through best practices and automation.
3. Incident Response Improve resolution times and maintain SLA targets for on-call responses.
4. Infrastructure Management Ensure 99.99% uptime, scalable systems, compliance with monitoring standards, and automated provisioning via IaC.
5. Security & Compliance Maintain full compliance, prevent critical security incidents, and implement secure architectures.
6. Disaster Recovery Execute plans meeting RTO and RPO for cloud/multi-cloud environments.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or related field

Professional cloud certification preferred

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a DevOps or SRE role

Skills:

Proficient in scripting/programming (Bash, Python, Go) and configuration tools (Ansible, Chef)

Skilled in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab) and version control (Git, SVN)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), networking, and Linux/Unix systems

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
