Job Description
HIRING: HSE OFFICER (MANUFACTURING / INDUSTRIAL GAS)
Location: Sendayan TechValley, Seremban
Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000
MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is hiring on behalf of an established global manufacturer specialising in high-purity electronic materials for the semiconductor and related technology industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor workplace health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP, BOMBA, Department of Environment and other regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities regarding inspections, submissions, licenses and corrective actions.
- Conduct HIRARC assessments, workplace inspections, internal audits and emergency-response exercises.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain statutory records, incident reports, chemical registers and HSE documentation.
- Manage scheduled-waste documentation and environmental compliance activities.
- Coordinate Safety and Health Committee meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox briefings and HSE training for employees and contractors.
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 documentation, implementation and audits.
- Monitor contractors and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Prepare HSE performance reports and communicate directly with overseas management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 3–5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in industrial gas, chemical, semiconductor or high-risk manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety, health and environmental requirements.
- Experience dealing with DOSH/JKKP, BOMBA or the Department of Environment.
- Familiarity with HIRARC, incident investigation, emergency response and scheduled-waste management.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage.
- DOSH-registered Safety and Health Officer or Green Book holder is preferred.
- Good written and spoken English for communication and reporting to overseas management.
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
