Key Accountabilities:

  • Assisting the company secretary in organizing and coordinating the company's annual and extraordinary general meetings, Board of Directors meetings, and Board Committee meetings. This includes compiling and distributing meeting materials.
  • Supporting the Company Secretary in managing and ensuring compliance with filing requirements at the Company Secretary Department, including the appointment and resignation of Board of Directors members to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM).
  • Liaising with and assisting PSMB Board of Directors as needed.
  • Updating and promoting awareness of a good governance framework regarding policies and procedures governing PSMB operations, aiming to build and maintain a strong corporate image characterized by integrity and good governance.
  • Assisting the Company Secretary in verifying invoices, meeting allowances, monthly allowances for Board of Directors, and ensuring all documents are sent to the Finance Department for payment.
  • Providing secretarial support for corporate exercises, ensuring accuracy of information provided and compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
  • Undertaking other reasonable duties as required by the Associate and Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary/ Management / Board Members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Corporate Secretarial/ Business Administration/Law/ ICSA/ other related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of full-time experience in the Company Secretarial field.
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading) in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
