The Executive, Competency Development supports the development and governance of Functional Competency frameworks under PMO. The role coordinates stakeholder engagement, maintains competency documentation, supports assessment activities, and ensures alignment with approved methodologies. Working with Managers within PMO, Functional Competency Group (FCG) Advisors of each workstreams, and internal Subject Matter Expert (SMEs), the role contributes to accurate competency definition, validation, and sustainable knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of functional competency frameworks and matrices in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Coordinate workshops and engagements with FCG Advisors, focal points, and SMEs
- Assist in planning and administering competency assessments for employees
- Validate competency content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance
- Provide inputs to support capability planning and development initiatives
- Ensure all activities comply with governance frameworks and quality standards
- Maintain and update competency documentation, tools, and records
- Support knowledge transfer initiatives to ensure sustainability and internal capability building
What We're Looking For
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Exposure to any of the following areas is an advantage:
- Competency assessment or Learning & Development (L&D)
- Training module development
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Research on learning best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage
- Basic project coordination and reporting skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a collaborative mindset
- Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
