We are seeking a driven, proactive, and versatile Executive, Event & Expo Sales to join our dynamic team. This is a full-cycle hybrid role where you will drive sales by securing exhibitors and sponsors, and play an equally crucial part in the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of our expos and fairs. This position requires a candidate who can successfully transition between achieving sales targets and executing on-site event logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Targets: Aggressively pursue and close sales deals for event sponsorships and exhibition booths through proactive cold calling, lead generation, negotiation, and client presentations.
- Event Management Support: Provide end-to-end support for event delivery, covering everything from proposal development and client administration to on-site coordination.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, sponsors, and exhibitors, while coordinating effectively with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, etc.) and external vendors to meet all event requirements.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in managing the event budget, including preparation, forecasting, and expense monitoring to ensure optimal event profitability.
- Reporting & Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, input event lead/visitor data, and prepare precise sales and progress reports for management review.
- Marketing Collaboration: Support the marketing team's promotional efforts across various platforms, including digital channels like social media, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising.
- Travel Requirement: Be willing and able to travel for work, which may include occasional outstation assignments, to support events and business development activities.
Qualifications Required:
- Exceptional skills in selling, negotiation, communication, and public presentation.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed report creation, data analysis, and financial tracking.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, including social media marketing concepts and live-streaming technologies.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Event Management, or Hospitality.
- Experience or exposure to industries related to Conferences, Exhibitions, Fairs, Product Launches, or Awards Nights.
- Basic proficiency in design tools like Canva and/or simple video editing software to support marketing efforts is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic Adobe software is an advantage.
