Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Manager based in Melaka, Malaysia. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring sound financial management and alignment with the organization's objectives. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements, and adhering to compliance requirements. The role also involves providing strategic financial advice to support decision-making, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Expertise in financial analysis, planning, and strategic decision-making
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, compliance standards, and regulatory policies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Experience in the education or non-profit industry is an added advantage
