We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance functions. The ideal candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification (ACCA) with strong audit background and 23 years of commercial finance experience. This role will support strategic decision-making, ensure financial integrity, and drive financial performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and manage full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support business decisions.
2. Commercial & Business Support
- Assist in evaluating financial performance and profitability with business units.
- Analyse cost structures and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support in margin analysis.
- Monitor cash flow.
3. Audit & Compliance
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and corporate governance requirements.
- Support the strengthening of internal controls and financial policies.
- Lead audit processes and ensure timely audit completion.
4. Team & Process Management
- Supervise and mentor finance team members (if applicable).
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SOPs.
Requirements
- Professional qualification: ACCA (completed).
- Minimum 23 years of commercial experience in a finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and taxation.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with commercial mindset.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
