Human Resources Manager

Our client, a growing service provider, is looking for an HR Manager to lead its HR function. This is a hands-on, standalone role. You'll be the go-to person for HR across a lean team of about 40 people and will work closely with senior leadership.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
• Process monthly payroll
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievances
• Maintain and update HR policies, the employee handbook and HR records
• Oversee performance management, leave administration and benefits
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other Malaysian labor regulations
• Work with an admin colleague on day-to-day HR and office matters

What we're looking for

• Solid generalist HR experience of at least 4-5 years, managerial experience is a bonus.
• Hands-on end to end payroll experience in Malaysia
• Experience working in a lean, fast paced environment is a plus.
• Experience in these industries (digital agency, tech, or consulting) is preferred.
