Job Description

Location: Seksyen 13, Shah Alam, Selangor

Employment Type: Full-time, On-Site

Salary Range: RM 7000 - RM8000

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and strengthen our people operations as the company continues to grow. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, compliance-driven, and confident in managing employee relations, HR governance, and talent processes across the organisation.

You will work closely with management to ensure HR policies, practices, and culture support business objectives while remaining compliant with Malaysian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

A) HR Operations & Compliance

  1. Oversee HR policies, SOPs, and ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulations
  2. Manage disciplinary matters, performance issues, domestic inquiries, and employee grievances
  3. Advise management on IR matters and risk mitigation
  4. Handle HR documentation, contracts, confirmations, and exits

B) Talent Management & Recruitment

  1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for executive, managerial, and support roles
  2. Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and talent needs
  3. Improve onboarding experience and probation management

C) Performance & Employee Engagement

  1. Manage performance management frameworks, appraisals, and KPI alignment
  2. Support leadership in handling performance improvement plans (PIP)
  3. Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture alignment

D) HR Strategy & Reporting

  1. Provide HR insights, reports, and recommendations to management
  2. Support organisational restructuring, manpower optimisation, and succession planning
  3. Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and scalability

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 58 years of HR generalist experience, including people management
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, IR practices, and HR compliance
  • Experience handling disciplinary cases and employee relations matters
  • Good communication skills with ability to deal confidently with all levels
  • Highly organised, discreet, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
