SOP
HR Policy, Framework & SOP Development (Top Priority)

Localize HQ HR strategy into Malaysia-compliant policies covering employment terms, leave, discipline, termination, etc., aligned with Employment Act 1955 and other relevant laws;

Independently draft, update, and roll out comprehensive HR SOPs—including onboarding/offboarding, attendance, performance review, disciplinary actions, and personnel file management;

Establish a compliance audit mechanism to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks;

Drive policy communication and training to ensure organization-wide adoption.

/ Recruitment & Workforce Planning
•
Develop and execute annual hiring plans aligned with business needs;

Recruit for critical manufacturing roles (technicians, engineers, supervisors) with speed and quality;

Manage recruitment channels and enhance employer branding in local market;

Support expatriate work pass applications through Immigration and MIDA.

Payroll / Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
•
Design competitive local pay structures and support annual salary review and bonus planning;

Oversee end-to-end payroll: validate timesheets/salary data, liaise with 3rd-party providers, resolve inquiries, and ensure 100% accurate statutory filings;

Administer statutory and voluntary benefits to enhance employee experience.

•
Proactively manage ER matters and resolve grievances or potential disputes;
•
Organize engagement initiatives (e.g., town halls, surveys, celebrations);
•
Bridge cultural gaps between Chinese leadership and local workforce.

/ Administration & Government Liaison

Lead licensing and compliance: SSM, MIDA incentives, DOE, Bomba, FMA, etc.;

Serve as primary point of contact for government agencies;

Coordinate external vendors for efficient service delivery;

Oversee office setup, procurement, and asset management.

/ Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree or above in HR, Law, Business Administration, or related field;

Minimum 8 years of hands-on HR experience in Malaysia, with proven track record in building or overhauling HR policies and SOPs;

Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory;
• EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Employment Pass
Deep expertise in Malaysian labor laws and statutory compliance;
• MIDASSMDOEBomba
Demonstrated experience independently handling MIDA, SSM, DOE, Bomba applications;
•
Fluent English (working language); basic Bahasa Malaysia for government interactions;
•
Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
•
Strong systems thinker who can translate strategy into operational frameworks;
•
High compliance awareness with meticulous attention to documentation;
•
Self-motivated and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced startup environment;
•
Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder influence skills.
