Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT initiatives, ensuring successful implementation across the full SDLC within scope, cost, time, and quality. The role oversees infrastructure, cloud, security, and system integration readiness while coordinating multi-vendor delivery and ensuring regulatory and governance compliance. The position works closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, stable, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT project delivery across development, testing, production, and DR environments
- Translate business requirements into IT implementation plans and technical delivery roadmaps
- Oversee infrastructure, network, security, cloud, and system integration readiness
- Manage vendors, system integrators, and technology partners to ensure delivery and contractual compliance
- Govern project execution using hybrid delivery approaches and maintain all required project artefacts
- Identify, manage, and mitigate IT risks while providing regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders
Key Skills Required
- Strong expertise in IT project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes, system integration, and enterprise architecture
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, environment provisioning, deployment, and disaster recovery
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure principles
- Experience in vendor, contract, and stakeholder management
- Understanding of regulatory and IT governance requirements in financial services
