Job Description
Sunway Malls is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team, primarily in administrative coordination and employee engagement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to HR operations within a dynamic retail environment. You will play a key role in supporting engagement programmes, internal communications, and day-to-day HR administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
Employee Engagement Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives (e.g., team buildings, events)
- Support internal communication efforts (email drafts, posters, content coordination)
- Track participation rates and compile engagement data for reporting
- Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, attendance lists, and materials preparation
HR Administrative Support
- Maintain and update HR records and documentation
- Assist in preparing letters, forms, and HR-related documentation
- Assist in data entry and filing (digital and physical records)
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Good at using Canva is a bonus
- Able to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn
- Posses great teamwork
