Job Description: IT Project Manager (EUC/Desktop Rollout)
Position Overview
We are looking for an experiencedIT Project Managerwith a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in managing IT projects and professional certification inPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience indesktop rollout services or End User Computing (EUC) rollout projects, managing deployments at scale, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring minimal business disruption. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project governance skills to deliver IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, with focus ondesktop rollout/EUC deployment projects(hardware, software, OS upgrades, application rollouts, endpoint security, etc.).
- Develop project charters, detailed plans, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports in line with PMP/PRINCE2 standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless rollout execution across sites or business units.
- Manage resource allocation, logistics, and scheduling for large-scale desktop or EUC deployments.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and change management policies.
- Monitor and report on project performance, escalating risks and issues as needed while driving mitigation strategies.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future rollout processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodology and rollout efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experiencein IT project management, with at least some involvement indesktop rollout/EUC rollout projects.
- Professional certification:PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent).
- Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers in rollout projects.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior experience withWindows OS migration, Office 365 rollouts, VDI solutions, or enterprise endpoint management tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, change, and service management.
- Agile certifications (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe) a plus.
